Names

Annika has discovered that dan and I have names other than Mommy or Daddy. The other day she comes up to me and the exchange goes like this:
A- mommy, i have a name for you.
S- what is it?
A- Stephanie.
S- what about daddy? does he have a name.
A- nope

That was saturday or sunday.

monday when her and dan got home from daycare the exchange went like this:
A- Hi mommy. Your name is stephanie
S- that's right annika, good job.
A- Where's Dan?
S- he's right over there. (pointing to him)
A- oh, hi daddy.


the little things in a child's development really make my day.
